The same people who call Chiropractic quackery are responsible for these terrible side effects. They treat a disease–if it can be called so–that has no etiology with drugs with unknown mechanism on the whim of a theory that depression MIGHT be a chemical imbalance. This is perhaps the greatest double standard that exists. Say what you will about subluxation but handing out toxic chemicals for a “disease” that has no known cause or pathology to the tune of 60 Billion dollars a years IS quackery.
