Preventing Obesity and Osteoporosis Is Really Easy

While obesity and osteoporosis tend to plague adults, these ailments begin at preschool age. The solution? Feed your children their veggies. Researchers found that a “high intake of dark-green and deep-yellow vegetables was related to low fat mass and high bone mass” that impacted health later in life. The more vegetables the children ate, the lower their fat mass and the higher their bone mass. Now that’s good news.
