Reducing Colon Cancer Risk Different for Women and Men

The U.S. could see 20,000 fewer cases of colon cancer each year and 10,000 fewer attributable deaths by following the recommendations found in this study, which discovered that men and women have different risk factors when it comes to colon cancer. Women can significantly reduce their risk of colon cancer with 30 minutes of physical activity 5 days a week. Men can significantly reduce their risk by “achieving optimum BMI (body mass index) levels.”
