Toddlers With “Insecure” Parental Attachments More Likely to Be Obese

Children who have an “insecure attachment” to their parents at 2 years of age are more likely to be obese by age 4 ½ according to a new study. Researchers found that the risk of obesity by age 4 ½ was 30 percent greater for toddlers with insecure attachment to their parents.
