Coronary Risk Impacts Erectile Dysfunction

Research has shown that the modifiable risks factors for coronary artery disease are similar to those for erectile dysfunction (ED). It is likely that if you or someone you know is experiencing erectile dysfunction that they may also have risk factors for coronary artery disease.

The good news is that the same “lifestyle interventions” can address both.

Reducing alcohol intake and eliminating smoking are the way to quickly reduce your risk of ED and coronary heart disease.  Exercise, eating healthy foods and getting fit are also required to reduce your risk. As the research shows, if you make the necessary lifestyle modifications you will see “statistically significant improvement in sexual function.”
