Fruits & Veggies Reduce Nicotine Dependence?
Millions of people attempt to quit smoking every year. The majority of those are not successful.
The solution may be found in their fruit and vegetable consumption (FVC). According to the research, “higher FVC was associated with fewer cigarettes smoked per day, longer TTFC (time to first cigarette), and lower NDSS (Nicotine Dependence Syndrome Scale) score. Those in the highest quartile of FVC were 3.05 times more likely than those in the lowest quartile to be abstinent for at least 30 days at follow-up.”
