Violent-Video-Game Aggression

There is already evidence that playing violent video games increases a person’s aggressive behavior. This study examined if the level of aggression would increase with consecutive days of playing violent video games.

Not surprisingly, “aggressive behavior and hostile expectations increased over days for violent game players, but not for nonviolent video game players.” Given these findings, parents might want to consider restricting violent video game play to weekends only, one day a week or eliminate them altogether.
