Nutrition and Diabetes
Good nutrition can offset some of the risk of diabetes as well as contribute to the health of those who have diabetes. Researchers report that “clinical trials also provide evidence for the effectiveness of nutrition therapy in the prevention of diabetes.” This study found that “a healthy eating pattern emphasizing nutrient-dense foods in appropriate portion sizes, regular physical activity, and support are priorities for all individuals with diabetes.”
Good nutrition is important in ways you may not realize. Talk to your doctor of chiropractic about your nutritional intake and what you can do to be healthier.
