Less Sleep = More Snacks

The more you lose sleep, the more you pack on the pounds. People who sleep less than 6 hours a night tend to make up for it with more snacks, according to a recent study. The authors noted that reduced sleep “can modify the amount, composition, and distribution of human food intake,” and that sleeping short hours “may facilitate the excessive consumption of energy from snacks but not meals.”
