Berries Reduce Cognitive Decline

Berries are naturally high in flavonoids, which have a multitude of health benefits. A new study found that one of those benefits includes the reduction of cognitive decline in older adults. The study found “that berry intake appears to delay cognitive aging by up to 2.5 years.” Researchers concluded that “higher intake of flavonoids, particularly from berries, appears to reduce rates of cognitive decline in older adults.”
