Vitamin C for Skin Cancer?

An interesting study for the journal Frontiers in Oncology looked at the possible benefit of vitamin C for skin cancer. Researchers concluded that “our results suggest a possible epigenetic signature (cellular traits) of pharmacological doses of ascorbate (vitamin C) in human melanoma (serious skin cancer) cells and support further pre-clinical and possibly even clinical evaluation of ascorbate for melanoma therapy.”

While more research is required, this may be one more thing you can do to protect your skin.
